On any given meeting night, you'll find men sharing a meal, welcoming first-time visitors, catching up with lifelong friends, planning a service project, and taking time to become better husbands, fathers, and neighbors.

What reaching out actually leads to
You send a message. A brother reaches out personally, no pressure.
You talk it over — coffee, dinner, or a lodge visit. Your questions, answered plainly.
If it feels right, you submit a simple petition for membership.
The lodge votes. If approved, you're welcomed in and begin the journey.

You'll usually meet a brother for coffee or dinner first — no commitment, just a conversation. If it feels right, you're welcome to visit the lodge itself and see what a meeting is actually like.
There's a one-time petition fee and modest annual dues, set by the lodge's bylaws. We don't list exact figures here since they're set by vote and can change — a brother will walk you through the current numbers directly when you connect.
Mystic Tie holds Stated Meetings once a month, dark in July and August. Beyond that, involvement is up to you — some brothers are heavily active in degree work and events, others attend the stated meeting and that's it. There's no minimum that will make you feel behind.
Freemasonry asks that a man believe in a Supreme Being, however he understands that — it isn't tied to any one faith, and lodge meetings aren't religious services.
Yes. Many lodge events include spouses and families, and there are related organizations for wives, daughters, and sons if that's of interest.
No. The lodge, its members, and its meeting place are all public. Some specific traditions are kept between members, the way any organization might keep certain things internal — but there's nothing hidden about who we are or that we exist.
